Izmir area
The Izmir area provides a more varied Aegean holiday profile than pure resort coasts. Here, customers can combine the big city of Izmir, the beach towns of Çeşme and Alaçatı, the holiday town of Kuşadası and excursions to historical places such as Ephesus.
Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport is the main entrance. Çeşme/Alaçatı lies west of Izmir, while Kuşadası lies south towards Ephesus. A hire car or a pre-booked transfer makes several combinations easier, but the city of Izmir has better public transport than small resort towns.
