When you contact us

When you email or call us, we process your contact details and the information you share to respond and follow up. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in handling questions and possible partnerships.

The information is deleted when the enquiry has been handled and we no longer need it for documentation, contract follow-up or legal obligations. Do not send sensitive personal information.

When you continue to an operator

We record redirects to measure whether the service provides relevant leads, document traffic for partners, find technical errors and limit misuse.

The log may contain offer and operator IDs, selected room, destination URL, time, referring page, a random session ID, browser information and an encrypted control value based on the IP address. We do not store the IP address in plain text.

Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating, securing and measuring the comparison service. Click data is normally stored for up to 12 months. It may be kept longer when needed to resolve a specific settlement, security incident or dispute, and is deleted or aggregated when no longer needed.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand which pages are used, how visitors find their way around and where we should improve the service. Analytics is enabled only when you select “Accept all”.

Google Analytics may process information about pages viewed, approximate location, device, browser and how you use the site. We have disabled Google Signals and ad personalisation. The legal basis is your consent.

Google provides the analytics service and may process information outside Norway and the EEA. Google’s current privacy and transfer terms apply. Analytics data is set to the shortest practical retention period in Google Analytics.

Cookies and local storage

We store your cookie choice locally in the browser for up to six months. This is necessary to remember whether you allowed or rejected analytics.

When you continue to an operator, a necessary session cookie with a random ID is set. It distinguishes redirects in the same browser, expires after six months and is not used for advertising.

Analytics cookies are rejected by default. You can change your choice through “Cookie settings” in the footer or delete cookies and local storage in your browser.

External links and travel operators

When you continue, you leave Sydenkupp. The external operator’s privacy policy and terms then apply. Your browser may also send ordinary technical information, such as your IP address and referring page, directly to the operator.

The operator always confirms the price, availability, payment, travel terms and booking.

Your rights

You may request access, correction, deletion or restriction of personal information we process about you. You may also object to processing based on legitimate interests and withdraw analytics consent at any time.
