Destination

Mallorca

Mallorca is one of the Mediterranean's most complete holiday choices, with long sandy beaches, small bays, mountains, marinas, old towns and city life in Palma. The region is suitable for both simple package holidays and more active holidays, but the choice of area matters a lot because the island ranges from quiet family areas to distinct nightlife.

Palma de Mallorca is the main airport, and many coastal towns can be reached by bus, taxi, hire car or package holiday transfer. Car hire is useful for the Tramuntana mountains, coves and villages, while Palma and several resort areas work without a car.

Best months May, June, September and early October often balance beach warmth, fewer crowds and good prices
Weather Mallorca has a Mediterranean climate with hot, dry summers and mild, more variable winters. Summer provides the most stable bathing weather, while spring and autumn are better for cycling, mountain tours, city life and sightseeing without the heaviest heat.
Transfer Transfer is normally easy because the island has a large airport and well-developed tourist infrastructure. Areas near Palma and Playa de Palma are the shortest, while Alcudia, Cala Millor, Cala d'Or and smaller bays require a longer bus trip, taxi or hire car.
